Homelessness can take many forms & includes
individuals & groups who live in hostels, bed &
accomodation, & people who are staying with
family or friends in a temporary arrangement.

This research project draws from personal
accounts & experience. Facilitating educational
workshops with homeless people & conversations
with colleagues during seminars. Convened by
Professor AbdouMaliq Simone, Dr Miriam Fraser,
& Dr Brett Nielson, CSISP, Goldsmiths, University
of London, 2007.

It proposes how the re-appropriation of architectural
sites & charitable donations could generate learning
& skills zones. Allowing homeless people to work
with their peers to produce work & educational
initiatives that tackle homelessness & influence
service providers & policy development in UK cities.
